Tapir Design is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.  We are an independent design business that offers end-to-end design solutions for businesses, community groups and individuals.

Focused service to provide cost-effective and high impact results is at the core of our philosophy.
We design.  We create websites that are functional, structured in a logical manner, and easy to navigate.  We create publications that are both effective and attractive.  We get the basics in place, then we focus on the details to set our work apart from others.

We aren't too bad with graphic design elements, either.  If you require a logo, assistance with the look of your website or print materials, we have expertise with Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator.
We write.  Initially unintentional, we have amassed years of writing and editing experience.

Starting with tertiary study (many essays, plus a thesis or two), before developing further in the tertiary education sector through writing reports, papers and strategies that were most probably filed away in cabinets with warnings about leopards.

After this, marketing copy writing and editing has become a mainstay (and definitely sees the light of day).
We create campaigns.  Taking our design and content writing skills to their logical conclusion, we create campaigns - be that in print or online.  We publish websites that can be edited easily by the individuals and businesses for whom they have been created.

After your website or print publication is finished, we can also assist with marketing strategies and collateral (including developing your social media presence), as well as web analytics and e-marketing campaigns. 

About Anthony.  He likes tapirs.  A lot.

Anthony runs Tapir Design.  His professional background is in education.  He isn't a teacher, though.  Marketing and recruitment, and data are his fields, with graphic design, copy writing and editing thrown in for good measure.  He has worked as a roadie, helped to prepare the Reichstag for the shift of Germany's capital to Berlin, and has been employed in restaurants that make Fawlty Towers worthy of a Michelin star or two.

Over the years, Anthony has spent many hours staring at computer screens, both developing his skills and procrastinating.  He remembers using the Internet before web browsers and the first time he used one in the early 1990s, recalls thinking they were a gimmick and would never take off (in his defence, they were slow and clunky, and there was almost nothing to look at, let alone engage with).

Anthony developed his first website shortly after this.  Some things are best forgotten.

In addition to tapirs, Anthony likes classic scooters, loud music (most of which you've probably never heard of), and speaks German.
